Job Description Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Executive Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role you will provide protection for our senior executives.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing close personal protection to designated ELT members during office days, travel, and events
Conducting advance work for ELT movements, including site surveys, route planning, and venue assessments
Coordinating secure transportation logistics, including drivers, vehicles, and contingency routes
Monitoring and assessing security risks related to ELT travel, schedules, and public appearances
Maintaining real‑time situational awareness and adjusting protection measures as conditions change
Preparing and communicating trip plans, movement schedules, and protective operation details to relevant stakeholders
Supporting security incident response involving ELT members, including medical, safety, or threat‑related events
Maintaining strict confidentiality of ELT movements, personal information, and sensitive business activities
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in executive protection, dignitary protection, or a similar protective services role
Prior background in law enforcement, military, or corporate security
Ability and willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international) and work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage security operations in dynamic environments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with senior executives and external stakeholders
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
Formal Executive Protection training or certification from a recognized provider
Defensive/evasive driving training and experience providing secure transportation for senior leaders
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification; advanced medical training (e.g., EMT) a plus
Experience conducting threat assessments, open‑source intelligence review, or security risk analysis
Experience supporting executives in international or higher‑risk environments
Work Conditions & Expectations
Based at the Chantilly, VA office, with on‑site presence expected when ELT members are in office
Frequent domestic and international travel in support of ELT schedules
Requirement to maintain a high level of physical fitness suitable for protective operations
Requirement to maintain a high level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism at all times
Security Clearance Requirement None
Salary Range $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
