Body Shop Helper – Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
Sterling Collision Center in Opelousas, LA is hiring a
Body Shop Helper
to support our technicians and keep the shop running efficiently day-to-day.
This is a
hands-on, active role . If you like staying busy, working with your hands, and being part of a team, this is a great opportunity to get started in the automotive industry.
What You’ll Do:
Move vehicles, parts, and materials throughout the shop
Receive and organize incoming parts and deliveries
Assist technicians and the Body Shop Manager as needed
Keep the shop, work areas, and restrooms clean and organized
Take out trash and maintain a safe, clutter-free environment
Help with general shop tasks and errands as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Dependable and shows up ready to work
Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet most of the day
Takes direction well and stays productive without constant supervision
Team player with a positive attitude
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Must be 18+ years old due to insurance purposes
Able to lift and move parts/materials regularly
Must pass background check and drug screen
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time (no weekends)
