Position Overview:
The Contracts Specialist plays a key role in managing vendor agreements across Monarch’s national portfolio. This position is responsible for analyzing, negotiating, and overseeing contracts to ensure favorable pricing, compliance, and alignment with company objectives. You’ll collaborate with vendors, operations teams, and legal to drive cost savings and reduce risk across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, compare, and evaluate contracts for compliance and business alignment Negotiate favorable
terms, conditions, and pricing
with vendors Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related questions and issues Manage the
full contract lifecycle : drafting, review, negotiation, approval, and execution Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation Partner with legal, finance, accounting, and operations teams Support company-wide initiatives, ad hoc projects, and process improvements Ensure adherence to Monarch’s professional standards and policies Work across contract types including
trash, laundry, telecom, and utility agreements What We’re Looking For:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate contract terms and identify risks Proven
negotiation experience
securing favorable pricing and terms Understanding of contract language and best practices Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Customer-service mindset with strong relationship-building abilities Proficiency in
