Job Description:
We are looking for a pastor who meets the Christlike character qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 and has “the ability to teach” (1 Timothy 3:2 ) and the determination to “hold fast to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it” (Titus 1:9 ).
Position Qualifications:
Loves the Lord Jesus, be committed to Him and His Word.
Displays the characteristics of a leader as described in 1 Peter 5, Titus 1 and Timothy 3.
Passionate about the scriptures and their clear communication to others.
Shepherds those within and outside of the faith to bring them into closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
Demonstrates humility while offering vision and oversight of the church ministry.
Capable of working of a team towards a shared goal.
Educational degree or working to obtain a degree in theology or divinity preferred.
Five years of ministry experience or a combination of education and experience preferred, but not essential.
