Qualifications

Combination of education and/or experience in Memory Care, Dementia Care or Alzheimer’s

2‑3 years of experience within a Senior Living environment or similar

First Aid & CPR Certified

At least 3‑5 years of related work experience as a Memory Care Director

Job Summary Memory Care Director is responsible for developing and executing the Meet Me Where I Am approach to Memory Care utilizing all program components to maximize quality resident care.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing Quality Assurance program and provide appropriate plans of action to correct any identified deficiencies.

Actively plan, develop, and implement expansion and/or innovation in program services.

Recruit, train, coach, counsel, and direct the staff in Lilac Trace.

Communicate and work with families and residents of Lilac Trace to update on issues and developments.
