National Oncology Account Director - Free Standing Cancer Centers
The National Oncology Account Director is responsible for cultivating productive, strategic relationships with population-based decision makers across assigned cancer centers. Serving as the primary GSK account lead, this role advances brand objectives by enhancing awareness, supporting appropriate patient access to our products, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving both launch and in-market product strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic oncology account management, business planning, profiling and documenting insights to inform Market Access & Brand Team strategies for assigned accounts
Develop lasting commercial relationships with C- & D-Suite level stakeholders
Secure GSK product integration and on-label access within EMRs, formularies, pathways, etc.
Lead internal & external business strategy discussions with assigned accounts and cross-functional partners
Deliver/exceed performance goals using KPIs and problem-solving tools
Maintain, grow and share exceptional oncology marketplace and market access knowledge
Comply with all GSK policies and ways of working guidance
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 5 years of oncology/specialty commercial experience in the pharma industry
Minimum 2 years of oncology experience working with specialized health systems and supporting account level access or contracting discussions
Experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches and lifecycle management
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience managing sales teams, key accounts, strategic accounts, or market access
Demonstrated understanding of oncology disease states, health-system economics, and coding and billing for oral and IV therapies
Experience working within complex health systems and cancer centers
Established relationships within large NCCN member cancer centers
Experience supporting account-level contracting and pricing strategies
The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $186,750 to $311,250. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
