
Technology Strategy and Transformation Function Manager

Supports the development and execution of the enterprise Technology Strategy. This position leads and/or supports various strategic initiatives that have a potential impact on people, processes, and technology. The manager collaborates with resources within the department and across the enterprise to drive change within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Supports the development of the strategic vision and supporting strategic plan for the Technology organization
Leads transformation of various aspects of the Technology Department through the execution of strategic initiatives to improve the ability to support both short and long‑term business goals
Leads the use of new technologies/methodologies across delivery teams including Agile, DevOps, Robotics, APIs, and Low Code Platforms
Conducts communication, training, and coaching to various stakeholder groups to gain buy‑in and ensure appropriate utilization of new tools/methodologies
Monitors and measures success of implemented programs to ensure sustained improvements are being realized
Builds and leads communities of technology associates
Collaborates on new concepts with technology and business stakeholders
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related degree
Nine (9) years of relevant experience
Two (2) years of technology projects and initiatives experience
This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in‑office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.
Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the location and level of the position.
Job Range Target Minimum: $148,225.55 USD
50th Percentile: $185,780.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
