R0248588The **Head of Data & AI Business Partners** serves as the senior strategic interface between the business and Data & AI capabilities, bringing deep industry, organizational, and technical expertise to help shape and advance data and AI solutions. This role partners with customers and subject matter business leaders to understand complex business problems, define strategies, and identify practical, high value data and AI opportunities. The Head of Data & AI Business Partners ensures that business strategies, market trends, and organizational capabilities are aligned to deliver scalable, sustainable, and value driven data and AI solutions ensures that business strategies, market trends, and organizational capabilities are aligned to deliver scalable, sustainable, and value driven data and AI solutions**PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Serves as the primary strategic data and AI advisor to assigned business areas, partnering with senior leaders and subject matter experts to understand complex business challenges and opportunities.* Brings deep expertise in data, analytics, and AI to recommend solution options that are practical, scalable, and aligned with both market trends and organizational capabilities.* Acts as an industry and organizational expert, maintaining strong awareness of external data and AI trends, emerging technologies, and competitive practices while understanding internal platforms, tools, and delivery capabilities.* Collaborates with business partners to develop data and AI strategies, roadmaps, and investment plans that advance business outcomes and long‐term organizational objectives.* Leads and supports the development of strong business cases, including value hypotheses, cost estimates, risks, and success metrics for data and AI initiatives.* Partners closely with Data & AI Solutions Delivery, Platform, and Governance teams to ensure business requirements are clearly articulated, prioritized, and efficiently translated into executable solutions.* Ensures alignment across intake, governance, delivery, and platform processes so business needs are met while optimizing speed, quality, and reuse across the organization.* Demonstrates exceptional communication and translation skills, bridging business and technology perspectives to ensure clarity, shared understanding, and confident decision‐making at all levels.* Leads, mentors, and manages a team of subject matter business partners or analysts assigned to different organizational areas, setting clear expectations, priorities, and development paths.* Influences strategic direction by identifying cross‐business opportunities, promoting reuse of data and AI products, and helping forge a forward‐looking path that advances both the business and the organization.**Travel Requirements:**
This position requires approximately 15%–25% travel, primarily for executive stakeholder engagement, strategic planning sessions, and key business partner meetings.**Leadership:**Provides leadership and direct supervision to predominantly exempt professional staff, including Data & AI subject matter business partners or analysts aligned to various business functions or divisions. Responsible for coaching, performance management, prioritization, and talent development.**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:* 5+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, AI, technology consulting, business strategy, or related fields, including senior leadership responsibility.* Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business leaders to shape strategy, influence decisions, and translate complex business problems into data and AI solution approaches.* Strong understanding of data and AI capabilities, limitations, and trade‐offs, with the ability to assess feasibility, maturity, and organizational readiness.* Proven experience developing business cases, value propositions, and strategic roadmaps for technology‐enabled solutions.* Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical audiences effectively.* Experience leading and developing high‐performing teams in a matrixed, enterprise environment.The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
