A company is looking for a Director, A&R to build its music roster and manage artist relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and close artist deals, distribution partnerships, and catalog opportunities Identify and develop relationships with culturally relevant and commercially promising talent Support deal strategy and manage opportunities from sourcing through negotiation and onboarding
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in A&R, artist deals, or related music industry roles Proven track record of identifying and negotiating commercially viable music deals Deep understanding of the music business, including distribution and rights management Strong network within the music industry, including artists and managers Proficiency in Google Workplace and familiarity with music analytics tools
