The Position:
Imaging Director
Employment status:
Full-Time
Hours per two-week pay period:
80 hours
Essential Job Functions:
Provide leadership and management of all diagnostic imaging services
Maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance
Oversee department staffing, scheduling, and performance management
Manage budgeting, capital planning, and equipment lifecycle
Minimum Qualifications:
Progressive leadership experience in diagnostic imaging or radiology
Experience in hospital-based imaging operations preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of imaging modalities, regulatory requirements, and patient safety and quality standards
Strong operational leadership, staff management, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, Diagnostic Imaging, Nursing or related healthcare field required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), equivalent modality certification.
Current MT license as required in related healthcare field
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced certifications in imaging modalities preferred
Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking an Imaging Director to join our I CARE team in the Radiology setting. Essential duties of the position include directing daily operations of imaging services, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies including state and federal standards, and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
