## Education Consultant 3 - Instructional Designer3. Work with a variety of staff *to assist* instructors with launching and managing courses.4. Research and work with online learning team members *to develop* technology and process solutions that support development and delivery of online and web-enhanced courses.* Bachelor’s degree.* 3 - 5 years of work experience as an instructional designer in on-line teaching environment.* 3 - 5 years of work experience with an eLearning authoring system such as Adobe Captivate and/or Articulate Storyline.* Experience working in e-learning platforms such as Desire2Learn Brightspace.* Experience managing projects to completion within budget and time constraints in a virtual team environment.* Experience leading stakeholders through coaching and educating on the need for quality course design.* Demonstrated instructional design and development skills (e.g. portfolio, online examples) including: needs analysis, applied adult learning principles, systematic instructional design processes, graphic design and visual support, evaluation, and impact assessment.* Experience applying the theory and practice of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation processes to develop online course modules.* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.* Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with instructors and other subject matter experts and lead projects without authority.* Knowledge of educational theory and best practices in online learner success.* Experience with quality assessment tools and other data to guide the development and revision of online courses and programs.Metro State University provides an excellent, inclusive, and engaging education to eliminate opportunity gaps and empower our students to lead our communities to a prosperous and equitable future.
