We are looking for a Quantitative UX Researcher II to help us investigate and shape core traveler experiences across our product ecosystem for our flagship brands.
In this role, you will:
Conduct quantitative user experience research using methods such as large‑scale surveys, experiments, behavioral data analysis, and product telemetry to generate actionable insights that shape product decisions.
Translate complex data and statistical findings into clear, compelling narratives, visualizations, and recommendations that influence product, design, and engineering partners.
Partner with UX researchers, data scientists, product managers, and designers to define research questions, design robust study plans, and prioritize research activities that align with roadmap and business goals.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, repeatable measurement frameworks (e.g., metrics, dashboards, scorecards) that track user experience quality and product performance across journeys and surfaces.
Apply and refine quantitative research tools, pipelines, and best practices to improve research efficiency, data quality, and reproducibility, including familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.
Work across multiple product areas or customer journeys, adapting methods and approaches to different contexts while ensuring research is rigorous, ethical, and privacy‑aware.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, psychology, human‑computer interaction, data science, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience applying quantitative methods to user or product research.
Experience (typically 2+ years or equivalent) conducting quantitative user experience or user behavior research in industry or applied settings, including ownership of end‑to‑end studies from scoping to delivery.
Proven ability to independently design and execute quantitative research, including sampling design, survey or experiment setup, data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation for one or more product areas or services.
Proficiency with statistical analysis tools and data manipulation (for example SQL, R, Python, or similar), including descriptive statistics, significance testing, and basic modeling used to understand user behavior and product impact.
Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with cross‑functional partners (such as product, design, analytics, and engineering) to define research objectives, integrate findings into product decisions, and iterate on solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (such as statistics, behavioral science, HCI with a quantitative focus, or data science) with applied research experience in a product or technology organization.
Experience designing and analyzing complex quantitative UX studies at scale (for example multivariate experiments, conjoint studies, segmentation, or longitudinal tracking) to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Strong track record of building or evolving quantitative UX measurement frameworks (such as experience KPIs, composite indices, or behavioral funnels) and driving adoption of these frameworks across teams or domains.
Experience working with large‑scale product telemetry or behavioral event data, including collaborating with engineering teams on instrumentation, event design, and data quality, and using this data to guide product optimization.
Familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including leveraging or evaluating AI‑powered research tools or user experiences where appropriate to the problem space.
