R0026817**Housing Manager**The Ensign College Housing Manager provides administrative oversight and strategic coordination of Ensign College’s residential housing program. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining housing policies, systems, and partnerships that support a safe, compliant, and student-centered living environment. The Housing Manager works closely with campus departments and external housing partners to ensure housing operations align with the mission and values of Ensign College.In addition to fulfilling this purpose, each employee continuously strives to bring about the mission of Ensign College, which is to develop capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent experience in housing, student affairs, property management, or related field**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience working with college students or in higher education preferred* Familiarity with student conduct processed and/or crisis management preferred* Experience managing vendor or partner relationships preferred**Essential Job Functions:*** **Program Administration & Oversight**
- Develop and maintain housing policies, procedures, and standards
- Oversee housing application, assignment, and tracking processes
- Maintain accurate housing records, occupancy data, and reporting metrics
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, local regulations, and contractual agreements* **Partnership & Vendor Management**
- Serve as primary liaison with external housing providers and partners
- Manage housing agreements in collaboration with college leadership
- Monitor partner performance and address concerns related to facilities, safety, and student experience* **Student Support & Escalation**
- Provide oversight for student housing concerns and escalated issues
- Monitor and manage student reports for repairs and escalated complaints
- Collaborate with the Dean of Students Office on student conduct matters occurring in housing
- Support crisis response and ensure appropriate follow-up in coordination with campus resources* **Staff Supervision & Training**
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training Housing Coordinators and Resident Assistants
- Provide ongoing guidance, evaluation, and professional development for housing staff
- Establish clear expectations and accountability structures for team members* **Operations & Systems Management**
- Implement and manage housing systems (applications, assignments, communication tools)
- Coordinate move-in/move-out processes and key housing timelines
- Manage furniture, furniture movement or repair, storage unit inventory, and new purchases
- Oversee budget tracking related to housing operations (if applicable)* **Communication & Engagement**
- Develop clear communication strategies for students regarding housing expectations and updates
- Collaborate with campus departments (Admissions, Student Activities & Events, etc.) to support housing-related initiatives
- Promote a housing environment aligned with Ensign College standards and student development goals* **Compliance & Safety**
- Coordinate with campus partners as needed on emergency response, threat assessment, and behavioral intervention processes
- Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring proper escalation and institutional response
