Position Summary:

The Assistant Property Manager supports day-to-day operational and administrative requirements across a portfolio of commercial properties. This role works closely with the Senior Property Managers and serves as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and ownership.

Responsibilities

Support property managers in the oversight of day-to-day operations

Assist with annual budget preparation and capital project coordination

Assist in the collection of rents and coordinate monthly tenant reimbursements

Support tenant communications and formal documentation

Assist with administrative support for all aspects of property management to include invoice processing, accounts payable/receivable, and insurance

Coordinate preventive maintenance, work orders, and vendor contracts

Support lease administration: track critical dates, CAM reconciliations, and estoppels

Maintain accurate records in MRI property management software

Prepare vendor service contracts and monitor invoicing

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, preferably commercial real estate

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

Experience with MRI property software and Microsoft 365 suite of tools

Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements

Working knowledge of commercial real estate leases and agreements

Positive attitude and customer service focus

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
