
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

The Funeral Director and Embalmer duties include:
Providingthe highest level of service to our client families with respect, dignity, and compassion
Caring of deceased including embalming, restoring, dressing, cosmetizing, casketing, and handling cremated remains
Preparing forand coordinating services
Overseeing, directing and, as necessary, assisting any scheduled services
Being knowledgeable of all programs and services offered
Ensuringthe highest standard of professional and ethical conduct in all activities
Working collaboratively with other funeral professionals to exceed expectations
This person must:
Be a LicensedFuneral Director/Embalmer in the state of Michigan
Have a minimum of three years previous licensed funeral director/embalmer experience
Be familiar with a wide range of religious andcultural funeral services and customs
Be passionate about and committed to delivering outstanding service
Haveexcellent verbal and written communications skills
Work in a professional, pleasant, and composed manner
Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Possess a valid Michigan driver’s license and an insurable driving record
Be ableto stand for long periods of time and to lift and exert force as needed
