Associate Director of Grid Integration

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Grid Integration to develop and execute generation and large load interconnection strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate tariffs and manage generator and load interconnection requests across PJM, MISO, and NYISO Lead interconnection due diligence for acquisition opportunities and assess deliverability risk and upgrade costs Represent the company in ISO/RTO stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships with key external partners
Required Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline 6+ years of applicable professional experience in managing interconnection processes Strong technical understanding of power system analysis concepts and interconnection risk assessment Familiarity with grid modeling and geospatial analysis tools preferred Proven ability to coordinate technical work across internal and external stakeholders
