
AI Operations Strategy Director

What You'll Do:
Ensures alignment with the company’s broader AI Strategy & Execution plan
Drives measurable productivity improvements across the RDC Next org by translating AI strategy into actionable, implemented initiatives
Owns the full project pipeline, actively identifying, scoping, and prioritizing automation opportunities, and drives them through to implementation
Partners with leaders across Operations, Product, Analytics, Strategy, Finance and Engineering to identify and prioritize AI opportunities that improve performance and business outcomes
Owns a portfolio of AI “Hero Use Cases” (5–6 per planning cycle) with clear problem statements, business cases, success metrics, and automation targets and is directly accountable for delivering them
Develops frameworks for evaluating, piloting, and scaling AI solutions that deliver tangible business impact, including 4–8 week pilots with defined success criteria and ROI validation before scaling
Designs and builds agentic AI workflows, including function-specific and “manager” agents in partnership with functional leaders and AI Solutions Engineers
Builds reusable prompt libraries, playbooks, and lightweight automations by role and function to drive everyday adoption
Establishes the AI operating model across four pillars: Access, Training, Playbooks, and Governance, including guardrails and approval paths for new AI agents and tools
Establishes operational metrics and dashboards to track AI’s impact on productivity per headcount, time savings, throughput, and tooling cost avoidance
Communicates progress, milestones, and business outcomes to executive leadership through concise, data-backed storytelling
Ensures responsible and ethical AI adoption, maintaining compliance, trust, and organizational integrity
Supports change management across the organization, including training, tool usage adoption, and communications
What You'll Bring:
12+ years of experience in business operations, product strategy, or technology enablement; at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
Demonstrated experience implementing AI or automation solutions in large-scale operational environments. Experience with Claude (or similar technologies) required
Strong technical fluency, comfortable working directly with engineers, reviewing implementations, and getting hands‑on with tools. This is a technical role first
Strong analytical, systems‑thinking, and cross‑functional leadership skills
Proven track record of shipping AI or automation projects from concept through production at scale
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
Experience working across both technical (product, engineering) and non‑technical (sales, ops, CX) teams
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to translate vision into actionable frameworks
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
