Director, Logistics Operations

You will support end‑to‑end logistics (physical flows from plants to customers), including all warehouse, transport and co‑packing operations, ensuring compliance with service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policy regulations. You will provide leadership and direction for the logistics organization, implement logistics strategy, and execute operations to maintain optimal solutions while supporting various routes‑to‑market and balancing service and cost. You will collaborate with internal and external (third‑party logistics vendors) partners to manage and deliver timely solutions.

How you will contribute

Be accountable for warehouse, transportation, international logistics (import/export) and co‑packing operations.

Deliver a consistent service level, adapt supply chain to changing customer environments, and ensure sufficient operational capacity.

Manage and deliver the logistics operational cost budget, maintaining best‑in‑class controls and governance.

Lead continuous improvement programs that reduce cost, lower carbon footprint, and improve service performance.

Select, manage, and develop long‑term relationships with third‑party service providers.

Ensure adherence to health and safety, quality, food defense, and legal requirements and policies.

Establish a business continuity plan for logistics operations.

Support best‑practice sharing and adoption.

What you will bring

Solid background in logistics with experience leading operations in an FMCG/CPG environment.

Team leadership experience, with proven ability to build effective teams and develop people.

Drive for results with proactive, dynamic, and action‑oriented approach, identifying areas where business change is required and excellence in project management.

Strong collaboration skills with business and financial acumen and ability to forge senior‑level strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strategic thinking plus excellent presentation, communication, influencing, and motivation skills.

Strong negotiating skills with ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups.

Functional / Technical Competencies Needed

Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) Essentials/Safety (Personal Process & Vehicle): Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Warehouse Operations: Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Business Partnering: Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Customer Centricity: Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Employee Relations: Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Lean Six Sigma Methodologies (LSS): Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Financial Acumen & Warehouse Labor Planning (WPP): Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Federal / State Regulatory Compliance & Law (OSHA, Worker’s Compensation, HR Policies): Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert proficiency required.

Minimum Education / Experience Required

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

10+ years of combined Warehouse/Delivery Logistics experience.

10+ years of People Manager experience.

Relationships

Internal: Local/National Branch Teams, External Branch Teams, People Team (Employee Relations & Labor Relations), Demand Planning/Fulfillment Teams.

External: Fleet/Equipment Maintenance Providers, Customers.

Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $142,700 to $235,455; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long‑term incentive program. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company. No Relocation support available.
