The Team or Role We’re looking for an Engagement Lifecycle Manager to own the operations and strategy for Tinder’s user-facing notification program. You will work closely with other product teams to ensure their features are highlighted and communicated through our engagement channels (email, push notification, SMS, in-app) to help increase visibility and adoption. This role also plays a strategic part in supporting Tinder members throughout the lifecycle while on Tinder. Ability to quickly AB test and iterate on campaigns and communicate results and next steps to other teams is essential. You’ll be joining the Engagement team, which owns all user-facing notifications at Tinder. Our mission is to deliver the right message to the right user at the right time, driving real dating outcomes. We support a homegrown CRM platform, own lifecycle notification development, and oversee operations to send billions of notifications globally each quarter. Through advanced targeting and bold experimentation, we drive feature adoption, retention, and meaningful engagement. We move fast, learn constantly, and scale with purpose. Where you’ll work
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week from our Los Angeles office. In this role you will
Be the problem-solver first in line to help keep everything on track and drive the project from conception through execution, keeping all teams up to date on progress. Be a crucial member of the team in ensuring campaigns are set up and deployed correctly to help increase engagement and reduce churn. Coordinate with internal partners (marketing / product managers / engineering) to ensure timely planning, creation, and deployment of all campaigns Own day-to-day communication and project coordination with internal clients Supervise Engagement dashboards and report findings with the team Execute and report results of A/B and multivariate tests Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and reducing execution complexity Support product managers in managing expectations for project results, handling partner communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project management 2+ years of engagement experience (preferably with list sizes 150,000+) Eye for detail to ensure campaigns and projects are up to specifications and on time Proven understanding of the app space and ability to collaborate with business, design, engineering and product management Experience with enterprise-level Engagement platforms (Iterable, Braze, Customer.io) Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR and opt-in and opt-out practices Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively with other departments Solid understanding of JSON, HTML, and SQL Ability to multitask, prioritize, and keep up with a large volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment Passion for collaboration and working in a team environment Qualifications
2+ years of engagement experience (preferably with list sizes 150,000+) Strong analytical and testing skills (A/B and multivariate testing) Experience with enterprise engagement platforms Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and opt-in/out practices Proficient in JSON, HTML, SQL; excellent cross-functional collaboration As a full-time employee, you’ll enjoy
