Manager of Consumer Analytics
The Manager of Consumer Analytics will collaborate closely with business leaders to deliver actionable, data-driven insights and help drive customer engagement. In this individual contributor role, the Manager will take full ownership of analyzing customer behavior and campaign performance across multiple channels — leveraging transactional, behavioral, clickstream, and demographic data.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Insights and Analysis:
Lead the development of recurring reports and ad hoc analyses that drive actionable insights, improving CRM strategies, and enhancing campaign performance across customer retention and acquisition efforts.
Strategic Recommendations:
Provide clear insights and recommendations to business leaders, forecasting campaign results and suggesting course corrections to meet or exceed business objectives.
Data-Driven Testing and Methodologies:
Design and implement testing methodologies and analytic approaches to answer key business questions, optimizing targeting tactics, and leveraging predictive models for improved campaign outcomes.
KPI Tracking and Performance Evaluation:
Build and maintain dashboards and syndicated reports that evaluate consumer metrics and campaign KPIs, ensuring stakeholders have the data needed to make informed decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives, providing regular reporting and deep-dive analysis on demand while managing expectations and delivering on time.
Project and Process Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables while standardizing analytic processes for efficiency and consistency.
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA in economics, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitative field
5+ years of experience in applied analytics, consulting, or similar decision science roles
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, or similar querying languages (Python is a plus)
Strong experience working with relational databases and handling large datasets
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation
Strong communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, proficient in active listening, and adept at conveying messages to diverse audiences across various hierarchical levels
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Detail-oriented, with strong time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
A collaborative and flexible approach, with a positive attitude towards teamwork and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working in applied retail analytics
Prior experience working with cross-border teams (e.g., collaborating across NA/EU teams)
Experience developing dashboards from scratch (Looker, PBI, Tableau, etc.)
Pay Range and Benefits Pay Range: 107,824.80 - 157,073.60
