The Practice Oliver Wyman helps industry leaders in the consumer, telco, and technology industries develop value growth strategies, improve operations, and maximize organizational effectiveness. Our clients include wireless and wireline equipment and communications service providers, enterprise IT, consumer electronics, semiconductor companies; and broadcasters, publishers, platform operators, online and entertainment companies.
Role
Managing the execution of individual project workstreams, including developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively tackling information limitations, and surfacing insights.
Synthesizing findings into written presentations and reviewing with clients and stakeholders.
Supporting the Partner group in project delivery through accurate, high‑quality execution.
Reporting to Engagement Managers and Principals, seeking guidance for technical expertise or senior-level advice on project execution and client engagement.
Coaching consultants and helping them develop their skill sets.
Desired Skills and Experience
At least 3‑6 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm.
Experience within Retail, Consumer Goods, Telecommunications, Software/Technology, or Media industries preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python.
A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
Willingness to travel.
Initiative, continuous learning, and creativity to generate novel ideas for client challenges.
Analytical aptitude to uncover key issues in complex data sets.
Ability to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.
Benefits Salary range: $135,000 – $195,000 (base).
In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives. The total rewards package includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) savings and other retirement programs, as well as employee assistance programs.
