Job Summary Prime Finance (the “Firm”) is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Director, Analytics & Reporting to own and lead the Firm’s end-to-end analytics and reporting function. This is a high‑visibility role that sits at the intersection of data strategy, portfolio/fund finance, and reporting – ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast‑paced hands‑on environment. The Director will partner with key stakeholders throughout the Firm to deliver investor and executive‑grade reporting and data on a standardized enterprise data platform, including CRE debt, fund‑level and management company metrics. Additionally, the Director will help drive a data‑orientated culture throughout the Firm by delivering end‑user analytics across all departments. This role requires strong technical depth, sound judgment, and the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders while remaining hands‑on.

Essential Functions

Own the design and delivery of the Firm’s core analytics and reporting products, serving as the primary analytics partner to all departments.

Deliver a standardized suite of investor, lender, regulatory, and executive reporting with clearly defined metrics, ownership, and refresh cadences.

Build and maintain the Firm’s core CRE portfolio and fund analytics, including loan‑level performance, portfolio health, liquidity, and fund performance metrics.

Act as the business steward for reporting definitions, KPI logic, and metric documentation within the enterprise data governance framework.

Lead process efficiency initiatives to reduce reporting cycle times and improve accuracy, scalability, and insight generation.

Act as the central intake point for cross‑functional reporting requests, setting priorities, clarifying requirements, and managing delivery expectations.

Partner with third‑party service providers (fund administrator, loan servicer, auditors, and advisors) to improve data flows, validate outputs, and support audits, due diligence, and regulatory requests.

Lead and develop a high‑performing Analytics & Reporting team through thoughtful organizational design, performance management, and professional development, all anchored in a client‑service mentality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Accounting or a related field required.

12+ years of progressive experience in analytics, reporting, fund operations, accounting or related roles is required.

Experience within investment management, private credit, private equity or adjacent financial services is preferred.

3+ years of experience building and leading a high‑performing financial /data analytics team is required.

CFA, CAIA, CPA or meaningful equivalent is preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in fund mechanics (NAV, waterfalls, capital accounts, performance fees, etc.), and investor reporting required; demonstrated expertise in CRE of private credit finance is preferred.

Proven track record architecting or transforming a reporting / data function in a growth‑stage or scaling environment; strong player/coach instincts.

Strong proficiency in BI / analytics tools (Power BI ) and modern cloud data platforms (Fabric, Snowflake or equivalent), SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and governed semantic layers for BI, and advanced Excel (complex models, dynamic arrays, pivot tables) is required.

Familiarity with Argus, Greenstreet, Yardi, Juniper Square, or other CRE / fund management platforms and experience integrating fund administrator processes.

Demonstrate experience utilizing AI to improve workflow efficiency and scalability.

Exceptional communication skills, ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, executive‑ready narratives and recommendations.

Demonstrated commitment to delivering an excellent internal client experience through a consultative service model, including managing competing priorities, setting clear expectations, adapting communication to diverse stakeholders, and recommending data‑driven solutions that best support business goals.

Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and deliver exceptional reporting under tight deadlines while maintaining rigorous controls and data integrity.

Organized, detail‑oriented, and discreet, ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding investor, partner, and Firm information.

Experience supporting SEC regulatory examinations, investor due diligence processes, and lender credit facility compliance reporting preferred.

The expected salary for this role is $195,000 - $292,000. Actual compensation will be determined by several components, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills and qualifications, base salary of internal peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and a variety of financial, wellbeing, and health / welfare benefits.
