Overview
The Maintenance lead follows up the implementation of mechanical maintenance and works to reduce the repair time to ensure the sustainability of the operation of the machines in the best way to the last and the product according to the production plan and conforms to the specifications of Coca-Cola International and ISO specifications.
Responsibilities Maintenance work on the lines
Follows up the implementation of the annual plan for overhauls, reviews the validity of all parts of the machines accurately, installs the necessary spare parts and receives from maintenance companies, including ensuring the technical efficiency and productivity of the machine.
Participates in the development and implementation of the necessary maintenance plans (stop the line/machine) before stopping and when restarting "preventive" to ensure energy saving and obtaining the best efficiency of the machines.
Performs periodic maintenance work to rationalize the consumption of electricity, water, and energy in the factory.
The daily traffic on the production lines to follow up the mechanical maintenance operations in the factory and the work of corrective maintenance to ensure the efficiency of the lines and the quality of operation.
Provides support in the repair operations for any sudden mechanical failures in the factory to ensure the efficiency of the production process.
Daily reporting
Provide daily technical reports on the performance of machines, production lines, frequent malfunctions and any maintenance required to ensure the safety of the production process.
Monitoring the calculation of stopping time for machines and calculating the time required for repair.
Inventory and spare parts follow-up
Periodic follow-up of spare parts in the store and making purchase orders in case of unavailability to complete the stock and ensure the speed and quality of maintenance operations.
Receiving new spare parts approved by technical and conformity tests and ensuring their quality before installation.
Monitoring and inspecting the consumable spare parts to be discharged after conducting the necessary tests to ensure that they are not suitable for carrying out the dismantling procedures.
Application of management programs
Obligation to implement environmental, safety and occupational health programs and apply standard operating instructions. To ensure the efficiency of the production and the maintenance of the operation of machines and workers.
Commitment to implement mobile parts programs, ventilation, electricity safety and hazardous energy for the safety of the human element.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
5+ years of FMCG operations maintenance experience preferred; 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
Mechanical experience maintaining equipment preferred Krones, Sidel lines.
Installing and repairing all mechanical components (bearing, pneumatics, pumps, Etc.…)
Good Experience in maintaining Utilities Equipment (Chillers, and Air and Ammonia Compressors).
TPM good knowledge.
Working on shifts.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making.
Shown ability to excel in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.
Effective mentoring, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
