Teradyne is a global test and automation specialist empowering manufacturers to develop and deliver products quickly and cost‑effectively. The Sales Engineer position focuses on strategic account management for Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and related capital equipment.
Responsibilities
Cultivate Strategic Relationships:
Build and nurture meaningful connections with key stakeholders within strategic accounts.
Develop Sales Strategies:
Design and execute sales strategies to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
Increase Market Share:
Grow the customer installed base of testers to drive engineering and production business.
Advocate and Support:
Champion customer needs, ensuring alignment with Teradyne’s strategic objectives.
Manage Activities:
Oversee installations, upgrades, coordination with sales teams, service arrangements, competitive sales processes, product roadmap alignment, forecasting, quoting, and order booking.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; MBA is a plus.
Experience:
10+ years overall, including 5+ years in capital equipment sales within the Semiconductor industry or related field.
Sales Expertise:
Proven success in discovering and securing new business and driving growth by expanding the existing customer base.
Customer Focus:
Strong advocate for customer needs, delivering timely and effective solutions.
Organizational Skills:
Detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and able to respond promptly while maintaining thorough organization.
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and time‑management skills.
Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities.

Location:
Only local candidates will be considered; relocation is not available.

Compensation:
Base salary range: $159,300–$207,000. Eligible for discretionary and sales incentive bonuses.
