Customer Relations Assistant

Are you a positive and friendly individual who enjoys engaging with all types of people? Our Customer Relations Department may be the place for you! Our Main Library has a part-time opening for someone who has excellent communication & customer service skills.
Primary job duties include:
Performs circulation services for library materials, which include check-in, check-out, and renewing items, placing holds, registering new library cards, or updating and registering customers for library programs, services, or classes.
Providing information to customers, answering questions, and being proactive by offering assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
We are looking for someone who is:
A real “people Person,” enthusiastic, caring, friendly, and empathetic.
A team player who thinks quickly on their feet as decisions need to be made.
A self-starter with the initiative and courage to propose new ideas.
