Summary

Reports to the HeadVolleyballCoach and Director of Athletics. Assist the HeadVolleyballCoach with various aspects of the varsity volleyballprogram; i.e., coaching, recruiting, scheduling, camps/clinics, and game/practice management and fundraising.The assistantvolleyballcoach will adhere toRMACrules, regulations, andNCAADivision II bylaws. In addition, the assistantvolleyballcoach willrepresentMSUDenver in a positive manner and continue to uphold the program's philosophies and the athletic department's core values.

Duties/Responsibilities:

40% -Operations &logistics

15% --Coaching - Assist head coach in coaching team

15% - Recruiting

10% -- Fundraising and public relations

10% -- Program management

5% - Game/Practicepreparation/management

5% -Supervision of student-athletes

Specific Responsibilities:

* Operations andlogistics(travel coordinator,equipment coordinator,community service coordinator,secure line judgesfor home matches, coordinate pre-match practice times, oversee match promotionsandspecial events, liaison with marketing and communications,and other related duties).

* Assistwith recruiting (maintainingdatabase, in person recruiting, organize on campus visits).

* On court trainingassistant.

* Video coordinator (scouting, training, match,Volleymetrics).

* Statistics coordinator (collect and distribute statistics to coaching staff and athletes as necessary).

* Assistwith academic coaching(meet regularly with student athletes and track their academic progress andadvise).

* Assistwithdirecting forvarious fundraisers (RMR tournaments, camps,etc.). Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree.

-Experience coachingVolleyball.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Knowledge and experience with operations of a collegiate volleyball program

-2 years of experience coaching at the collegiate level

Salary for Announcement

Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

This position is a 0.75 FTE, and the salary range has been prorated from the fulltime range equivalent $41,626.00-$51,076.00.

The anticipated hiring range for this 0.75 FTE role is $31,219.50-$43,557.00

This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
