A company is looking for a Director of Government Affairs to lead engagement with government entities and advocate for organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement government affairs strategies to advance organizational goals Monitor legislative, regulatory, and political developments impacting the organization Engage with legislators, regulators, and government agencies to advocate for policy objectives
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance; U.S. Citizenship required 10+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or legislative work Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, government, or related field Master's degree in public policy, law, business, or related field desired Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex policy strategies
