A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter - Inland Marine.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a profitable Inland Marine portfolio, targeting $2-3M in annual new business and scaling to $10M in total written premium Underwrite various Inland Marine classes, ensuring compliance with underwriting appetite and guidelines Develop strong broker relationships and monitor book performance metrics to adjust strategy as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of Inland Marine underwriting experience Bachelor's degree required; equivalent industry experience will be considered Expertise in coverage analysis, pricing, and risk selection for Inland Marine products Strong analytical skills for assessing complex exposures Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
