Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze scientific data to assess environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats Write ESA Biological Opinions and MSA responses related to biological assessments for listed species and habitats Provide technical assistance and feedback to action agencies regarding applications and consultations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with four years of experience, or Master's degree with two years of relevant experience in aquatic biology or related field Knowledge of salmonid life cycles and habitat requirements Experience with shellfish, finfish, and seaweed aquaculture Experience in implementing ESA regulations and writing federal regulatory documents Experience assessing impacts of human activities on marine species and habitats
