Wage Range: $141,898 - $227,011 per year

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary Leads the assessment, development, and execution of a broad range of strategic, business development, growth and partnership activities. Identifies and qualifies potential growth opportunities such as joint ventures and creative partnerships with health systems, hospitals, ambulatory centers, physicians, and other businesses. Develops, implements, and monitors strategic and regulatory capacity initiatives through the strategic planning process as well as the Department of Health’s Certificate of Need (CON) process. Manages complex and comprehensive planning functions. Develops and manages relationships to ensure effective planning. Interacts with all layers of Governance, administrative and physician leadership, consultants, and other external health care organizations. Major areas of accountability include strategic planning, general planning, partnership development, certificate of need, environmental assessment, needs assessment, and competitive and market intelligence.

Primary Duties

Directs the development of EvergreenHealth’s three-year system strategic plan.

Identifies and evaluates new business opportunities, new products and services, acquisitions, or affiliation opportunities.

Facilitates the development of significant partnerships, including representing EH’s perspective throughout all phases (e.g. scope, structure, terms, valuation, agreements).

Manages the assessment of market position, performance, developments, trends, physician needs, and demographics. Formulates strategic options and recommendations.

Leads any system Certificate of Need activities.

Coordinates the implementation of key strategic initiatives, as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience REQUIRED for the position

Masters in Health Administration (MHA), Masters in Public Health (MPH), or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

5 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, health care planning, market/business analysis, or market research

Demonstrated competence in quantitative and financial analysis

Demonstrated competence in managing operational budgets

Performs work within strict quality, budget, and timing guidelines, striving for efficiency and efficacy, and identifies opportunities for process improvement

Ability to strategically develop, refine and improve performance metrics and measurements methods

Analytical ability to identify and gather sources of data, interpret data and to prepare clear, concise reports
