The
Director of Operations
leads a high‑volume, 24/7 operation, driving safe, efficient, and compliant performance across day and night shifts. This leader is accountable for operational excellence, associate engagement, and continuous improvement while supporting business growth and customer service commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end operations across multiple shifts, ensuring strong performance in safety, quality, service, and cost.
Champion a safety‑first culture, driving incident prevention, regulatory compliance, and safe work practices.
Ensure full regulatory and audit readiness, including DSCSA and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
Drive continuous improvement using BOS metrics, standard work, and data‑driven action plans.
Improve throughput and service through process excellence and engineering‑based solutions, including layout, material flow, automation, and equipment reliability.
Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing leadership team; build engagement, accountability, and retention.
Manage operating budgets and financial performance to meet cost and profitability targets.
Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Regulatory, IT, and vendors to execute business strategies.
Lead change management initiatives tied to operational transformation and new technology implementations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
10+ years of operations experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a large, complex operation (healthcare or pharmaceutical distribution preferred).
Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, inventory management, and Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
Proven ability to lead multi‑shift teams in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Experience with operational systems and tools such as Labor Management Systems, Slot Active, CoPilot, and data analytics platforms.
Solid financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
119,700 - 199,500
