Sr Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst - Secret

Overview Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking experienced Information Systems Security Professionals across the country to support information systems lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Redondo Beach, CA location. This role involves a holistic approach to cybersecurity, addressing people, processes and technology within the whole security realm of offense, defense, and exploitation.

Responsibilities

Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.

Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support obtaining certification and accreditation of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, investigations, software and hardware research, emerging technology inspections and periodic audits.

Assist in the implementation of required government policy, make recommendations on process tailoring, and document process activities.

Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in tests, analysis of results and preparation of required reports.

Document the results of Certification and Accreditation activities, technical or coordination activity, and prepare the system Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M). Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.

Basic Qualifications

Master's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years; or an Associate's Degree with 10 years; or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 12 years of relevant experience.

Current DoD 8140 security certification of CISM, CISSP, CCISO, or GSLC.

Current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) with ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance.

Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security.

Active TS/SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph.

10 years of experience with Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework.

Knowledge of ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, SCAP, POA&M, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development.

Experience with cloud computing services including AWS.

Salary Primary level salary range: $142,200.00 – $213,400.00.

Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, or long-term incentives for certain positions.
