About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Ecommerce to take on a pivotal role in the commercial transformation of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and scaling the entire ecommerce business, with a focus on building a direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth engine, optimizing performance across various digital channels, and architecting the necessary data and marketing technology infrastructure. This is a high-stakes position with full P&L accountability, demanding a strategic leader who can develop and execute a 3-5 year digital commerce vision and roadmap. The role involves not only driving revenue and profitability but also leading a team to manage the end-to-end ecommerce P&L, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure alignment with product, supply chain, and B2B sales.

Applicants for the VP of Ecommerce role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or equivalent experience preferred. A minimum of 10 years in ecommerce, digital commerce, or omnichannel retail is required, with a proven track record of at least 3-5 years in full P&L ownership. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Amazon and marketplace strategy, as well as experience in building and scaling DTC ecommerce channels. Strong financial fluency, the ability to manage a multi-brand ecommerce P&L, and experience in martech stack implementation are essential. The role demands a leader with a builder mentality, high integrity, and a bias for action tempered by analytical rigor, who is comfortable with ambiguity and organizational change.
