About the Role
WPIX is looking for a Sports Executive Producer who will lead the editorial, operational, and creative direction of the station's sports coverage and sports-branded programming, including our late-night sports show. This leader will set and communicate a clear content strategy, manage daily and long-range planning, and ensure the team executes with consistency, creativity, and editorial excellence.

Requirements
BA in Communications, Journalism, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Proven track record of operational excellence, including scheduling, long-term planning, and assignment management.
Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate and execute a show mission or brand vision.
Experience
7+ years of experience in sports broadcasting, news production, or related content leadership.
Minimum 3+ years managing teams of producers, anchors, or reporters in a live-production environment.
5+ years experience in a top-25 market with multiple major league teams.
