Position: Business Development Director – LJA Infrastructure
Position Overview:
As a Business Development Director at LJA Infrastructure, the Director will be involved in all aspects of freight railroad project and program development, including marketing, planning, customer relations, and rail yard business development; selling space to store rail cars and associated services in LJA‑owned and/or sponsored rail yards in the USA.
Typical Day Includes:
Marketing, Sales & Industrial Rail Car Customer Business Development
Market Research and Strategic Planning
Knowledge of Rail Car Customer Logistics Requirements
Networking at Various Events
Promoting LJA Railroad Services
Knowledge of Rail Car Customer Overall Shipping and Service Needs
Provide related reporting
Required Education/Credentials:
Bachelor’s Degree
Education preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
Required Qualifications:
Strong Relationship Builder
5+ Years experience working with Rail Car Shippers
5+ Years of Industrial Railroad design experience
5+ Years of Business Development experience
