Job overview You will serve as the strategic engine behind the ETO, guiding the BSSe program and related initiatives from vision to execution. By leveraging your deep technical and business acumen, you’ll coordinate across diverse teams, drive transformation, and ensure high-level visibility for your work. Your ability to synthesize complex problems, navigate interdependencies, and communicate with senior leadership will be instrumental to our success. What you’ll do
Develop and execute strategic initiatives and business plans for the BSSe program, aligning with AT&T’s broader goals
Manage technical and product interdependencies across multiple programs, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution
Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analyses to identify trends, threats, and opportunities
Build and interpret financial models and forecasts to support data-driven decision making
Partner with senior leadership, business units, and technical teams to drive alignment and deliver program milestones
Monitor industry trends, deliver competitive intelligence, and support negotiations for key transactions
What you’ll need
Advanced proficiency in strategic planning, initiative development, and business model innovation
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs and technical interdependencies
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to interpret income statements and balance sheets
Proven ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis in dynamic industries
Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations to executive audiences
Solid understanding of transaction support and competitive intelligence in large-scale organizations
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced degree preferred
10+ years of related experience in strategy, transformation, or similar business leadership roles
Track record of leading large, impactful projects in complex business environments
Experience serving as a strategic advisor to senior and executive leadership
Exceptional ability to work autonomously, solve complex problems, and influence policy and direction

Our Director Business Strategy- Transformation Office earns between $158,200 - $237,400 USD Annua l. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
