Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative
Inizio Engage is building a nationwide team of field‑based Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives. This entry‑level role focuses on increasing awareness of high/at‑risk patient type for COVID‑19 and supporting Pfizer’s initiatives through targeted engagement with healthcare professionals and retail pharmacies.
Responsibilities
Provide first‑tier support to physicians on COVID‑19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options.
Educate identified targets to ensure patient identification and preparedness.
Build and maintain working relationships with customers through regular calls and ongoing contact as defined in the Field Pharmaceutical Sales Contracted Team Statement of Work.
Ensure close collaboration with customer‑facing colleagues to align and coordinate goals across channels and field deployments.
Understand the customer and market landscape within assigned geographies, assess business opportunities, and develop or implement action plans to maximize local sales impact.
Operate in a high‑collaboration team environment that encourages idea sharing.
Engage hospital, physician office, urgent care, and retail pharmacy customers, probing and answering questions regarding drug–drug interactions, supply availability, and patient eligibility.
Maintain an expert understanding of the product, patient and consumer education, and marketing‑approved promotional materials.
Track and analyse customer interactions and data to tailor sales approaches for each target office.
Implement the strategic call plan to exceed goals for assigned geographies.
Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize local opportunities across channels and develop/implement strategies for targeted accounts.
Guide the retail pharmacy customer interface at the local level to support sales efforts.
Employ interaction techniques, including pre‑call planning, opening, presentation focus, productive questions, issue identification, and call summary.
Customize sales messages to align with known customer needs.
Share information on approved support resources.
Complete all call reporting, inventory recording, and other responsibilities per the SOW and current procedures.
Balance required study and certification time during off‑territory hours to learn medical, product, and policy information, and to maintain supplies, equipment, and records.
Prepare for and participate in all required sales conferences and training classes at local or remote locations.
Complete all required Compliance training within timelines set by the client.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (e.g., Pharmaceutical Sales, Medical/Medical Device Sales, Professional Sales or Promotional Activity).
Experience as a Small Business Owner or in Entrepreneurial, Marketing, Customer Service, or Account Management roles.
Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT).
Education experience (Teacher, Principal).
Full‑time Military experience.
Must live within 25 miles of the territory border.
Urgent Care setting experience.
Willingness to travel.
Valid U.S. driver’s license with a record in compliance with company standards.
