About the Role At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well‑being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
Train: Acquire core financial services licenses (Series 7, Series 66, Life and Health License) and learn the Equitable financial planning process, financial markets, and client engagement.
Learn: Join our Branch Assist team to connect with existing clients, position their investments, and plan for future financial needs.
Partner: Work with 10–20 Financial Professionals to contact their clients, grow their business, and support clients’ financial goals.
Additional Training: Client prospecting, conducting face‑to‑face meetings, developing client seminars, and managing business expenses.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $50,000. Eligible for variable compensation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, and Life Insurance Licenses (company funding provided).
Prior customer relationship management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous sales experience in financial services (banking, insurance, investing).
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
Cross‑Selling: knowledge of strategies and tools to create additional sales.
Effective Communications: understanding and application of communication concepts and behaviors.
Sales Proposals and Presentations: ability to prepare and present recommendations.
Sales Scoping and Qualification: ability to identify and qualify potential sales opportunities.
