Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. KRS Division dba KRS Aerospace Elastomeric Solutions ("KRS") is responsible for manufacturing precision elastomeric aerospace components. KRS has a customer portfolio that includes all major players in the Aerospace and Industrial industries. Our business is fully customer focused, with products specifically designed for an engine/airframe application and then produced in small quantities and small lots on highly flexible equipment. Extreme product range fragmentation, complex product design, very high-quality standards and traceability requirements are the peculiarity of KRS.

Our Elgin, IL team is hiring a

Customer Service Representative !

Duties and responsibilities are (including but not limited to):

Support and comply with all facility safety rules, policies, and procedures

Managing customer orderbook

Working in customer portals

International shipping and compliance

Process customer orders/changes in system according to established department policies and procedures, provide acknowledgements

First point of contact for order status, quotations, shipping information, customer questions and concerns

Acting as a liaison between customers, sales, and factory regarding new, current, and future requirements

Daily management of customer portals

Identifies delivery problems and proactively consults with proper company personnel and then provides best resolution for our customers

Building and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal customers

Problem solving mindset

Assist AR with research and resolution of invoices as well as the processing of debits and credits

Entering and tracking orders

Follow established processes and procedures to ensure work accuracy

Handling customer complaints and returned goods

Providing pricing and delivery information

Working with engineers to ensure customer requirements are met

Performs additional tasks and duties under direct supervisor, using defined policies and procedures

Streamline and automate processes

REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Person to meet CMMC 2.0 requirements

HSD/GED with minimum of 2 years of customer service experience

Customer service experience within aerospace preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to effectively resolving customer related issues, improving processes and helping in efficiency

Ability to work in a team environment and independently

Communicates with customers and colleagues at all times in courteous, clear, and professional manner

Excellent organizational and communication skills – written and oral

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS office

A proven track record of cross-functional interaction

Demonstrated success in problem solving

Must possess strong analytical skills

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations

Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently

Must possess a detail orientation, be able to work effectively

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally

Must be on-site, no remote work available

Work is performed in a manufacturing and industrial environment.

Majority of time will be spent in the office with occasional time on production floor.
