A company is looking for an Intellectual Property Counsel to support its Legal team in advancing and protecting innovation and portfolio strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, negotiate, and manage licensing and partnership agreements Conduct freedom-to-operate analyses and assess patent risks for new products Oversee patent application filings and provide legal advice on IP risks and strategies
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to a U.S. state bar Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) 5+ years of experience in intellectual property law, including FTO analyses and patent prosecution Experience in a life sciences or related scientific/technical field Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements
