A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate complex life insurance applications and determine eligibility for coverage Maintain relationships with agents and other departments through communication and meetings Assist with departmental tasks and provide mentorship to other life underwriters
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software Underwriting experience with knowledge of related business lines preferred Pursuit of industry designations such as ALMI, FLMI, FALU, or CLU required Occasional travel may be required
