Key Responsibilities
Perform in-depth reviews of income, assets, and borrower profiles, including complex self-employed cash flow analysis Review appraisals for accuracy and ensure compliance with corporate credit policy and regulations Provide clear decisions on loan approvals or denials and articulate reasoning to stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience (FHA, VA, Conventional, and Bond) Active DE (CHUMS) and SAR/LAPP designations are required High level of comfort with modern automated underwriting systems (DU/LP/GUS) High integrity and outstanding work ethic with the ability to meet production standards
