CPT ICD 10 Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist (CPT / HCPCS / ICD 10).
Key Responsibilities
Review provider documentation to abstract, assign, and enter accurate ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes into the electronic health record (EHR) system Perform medical chart reviews to identify, validate, and correct missed or inaccurate HCC codes in accordance with risk adjustment requirements Collaborate with providers to obtain clarification and provide feedback to resolve coding discrepancies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (required) 0-2 years of coding experience in a healthcare or clinical setting Experience with medical chart review and provider documentation preferred Working knowledge of ICD 10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines Familiarity with HCC coding concepts and medical chart abstraction
