A company is looking for an Underwriting Consultant - Stop Loss.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate risk by analyzing claims experience, shock losses, and medical information Determine pricing using various tools and methodologies for new business and renewals Manage an assigned block of business and serve as a subject matter expert for complex cases
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred 8+ years of stop loss underwriting experience with strong risk-based pricing expertise Deep understanding of stop loss products and pricing methodologies Professional designations such as HIA, MHP, or CEBS strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with David Young/ESL systems is a plus
