A company is looking for an Outpatient Coding Specialist - Surgery (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Assign diagnosis and procedure codes according to coding conventions and guidelines Maintain 95% accuracy on quality reviews and adhere to productivity standards Facilitate positive relationships with medical staff and assist in training other coders
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate degree in a health-related field preferred One year of outpatient coding experience in an acute care hospital preferred Certifications such as CCA, CPC, CCS, or RHIT preferred Knowledge of coding guidelines and compliance regulations Ability to work independently and remotely
