A company is looking for a Certified Coding Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Review and code inpatient, outpatient, and professional fee medical records using appropriate coding systems Analyze coding denials, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with client teams to resolve issues Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and participate in audits and training initiatives
Required Qualifications
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) from AAPC, or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) from AHIMA 0-5+ years of experience in E&M specialty coding, with a preference for 3 years Strong knowledge of ICD-10 CM/PCS and CPT coding Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
