Senior Director Procurement & Facilities

Our client, a scrappy and entrepreneurial growth company in the Telecom sector seeks a Senior Director, Procurement and Facilities.

About the Role

Strategic and results-driven leader handling sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain optimization initiatives across the organization. This role will be instrumental in driving cost efficiencies, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence.

In addition to overseeing procurement strategy, this leader will manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and facilities/real estate activities , ensuring alignment with the company’s financial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Planning

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide sourcing strategies
• Lead supplier selection, consolidation, and contract negotiations

Cost Management & Value Creation

• Drive total cost reduction initiatives through benchmarking and volume leverage
• Conduct financial analysis to support cost optimization and value delivery

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory accuracy and stock levels
• Lead cycle counts and manage material flow (inbound/outbound)
• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate inventory reporting
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, and cost metrics
• Ensure continuity of supply and service excellence
• Develop and implement policies for leasing, maintenance, and space utilization
• Lead contractor/vendor selection and negotiate construction and lease agreements
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruption, tariffs, and supplier stability

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Establish procurement policies and governance frameworks
• Drive automation and adoption of procurement technologies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to align procurement with business goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Professional certifications such as CPSM or CIPS preferred
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
• Proven leadership experience at a senior level
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced analytical capabilities (cost modeling, forecasting, market analysis)
• Experience with ERP systems and e-procurement platforms
