Summary

New Frontier High School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Principal/Activities Director. This full‑time position requires a visionary leader who is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture while promoting academic excellence and student engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of school administration and extracurricular activities, ensuring that all programs align with the school’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for the academic programs, ensuring high standards of education and student achievement.
  • Manage daily operations of the school, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and programs that support student learning and development.
  • Foster a positive school climate that promotes respect, inclusivity, and collaboration among students, staff, and the community.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of extracurricular activities, sports programs, and special events, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community stakeholders to enhance student learning experiences and address concerns.
  • Conduct regular assessments of school programs and initiatives, utilizing data to inform decision‑making and improve outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding education and student activities.
  • Lead staff development initiatives, providing support and resources for professional growth and improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and external organizations, promoting partnerships that benefit students and the community.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Valid Wyoming PTSB School Principal license.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in educational administration or a related field, with a strong background in school leadership.
  • Proven experience in managing extracurricular programs and activities, with a focus on student engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decision‑making and school improvement efforts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.

Must pass a background check per district requirements.
