As the Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of The Radius Group’s products and service offerings, which driving meaningful growth across the business.
Reporting to the Director of Radius Security, you will lead and mentor a small but highly capable team, including the R&D Team Lead and Systems Developer, while partnering cross functionally with Executive Leadership, Operations, Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, and our Command Center. You will be the connector that ensures product strategy aligns seamlessly with customer needs, operational execution, and financial performance.
In this role, you will own the full product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and leading innovation through our New Product Innovation (NPI) process, to launching and continuously optimizing offerings in market. Your work will directly influence revenue growth, operational efficiency, and our ability to stay ahead in a competitive and evolving industry.
You will also bring structure and clarity to our product portfolio, ensuring disciplined decision making, effective resource allocation, and a strong pipeline of innovation, while optimizing and evolving our existing services.

Compensation: Starting at $125,000 annually, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the R&D/Innovation team to deliver high quality outcomes for both internal and external customers.
- Set clear expectations and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and customer focused thinking.
- Identify and remove barriers by improving team processes, tools, and support systems.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance team effectiveness and overall customer experience.
- Lead end to end product and service development from concept through launch and rollout.
- Establish and manage structured governance, including stage gates, business cases, and approval processes.
- Ensure all initiatives are commercially viable, strategically aligned, and operationally ready.
- Partner cross functionally to deliver launches on time, within scope, and with defined success metrics.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand customer needs and translate them into compelling product strategies.
- Define product positioning, pricing, packaging, and go to market approaches.
- Drive product adoption, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Leverage customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to inform product decisions.
- Own the full product lifecycle, from launch through growth, optimization, and retirement.
- Manage and prioritize the product portfolio to balance innovation, growth, and mature offerings.
- Monitor product performance and drive improvements in pricing, efficiency, and expansion opportunities.
- Lead product rationalization and the structured retirement of underperforming offerings.
- Act as the central point of coordination across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Service teams to ensure organizational readiness for product launches and ongoing delivery.
- Align stakeholders on training, documentation, pricing models, and support requirements.
- Ensure products are designed for scalability through strong operational frameworks.
- Develop and refine SOPs, workflows, tools, and service delivery models.
- Partner with operations and service leadership to embed efficient, repeatable processes.
- Support business growth while maintaining high quality and consistency in delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent experience is an asset).
- 7+ years of experience in product management, including leading end‑to‑end product development from concept through launch and lifecycle management.
- Education or hands‑on experience with Lean Principles and/or Project Management.
- Background in security or similar service‑based environment is preferred.
- Proven experience & demonstrated ability to coach, develop and elevate team performance.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute go‑to‑market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and packaging.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience driving revenue growth, profitability, and product performance.
- Experience using data, customer insights, and market analysis to inform product decisions.
- Experience working within structured processes (e.g., stage‑gate, NPI, or similar frameworks).
