We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier performance, and drive cost reduction across key commodities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material availability and supporting operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Develop sourcing strategies for key materials
Negotiate pricing and terms
Manage supplier performance and lead time improvement initiatives
Identify and execute cost savings opportunities
Partner with project management and production to ensure outstanding orders are aligned with our demand schedule
Mentor purchasing team members
Qualifications
3-5+ years in Procurement/Supply Chain Management
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/Industrial Distribution preferred
Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
Experience driving cost savings and lead time improvements
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and communication skills
